I know we only had a few planning to attend Wauconda back in March when we plotted our schedule, if you are one of them or have since decided to go, can you please respond to this post? Trying to get a feel for what we have for crew at the event!
Just trying to be preemptive as far as crew goes. If you are planning to participate in the July 4 event in Oostburg, can you please reply to this post.
I know this is a bit late in coming but I wanted to toss out a reminder about the Battery Christmas Party at Potter this weekend. I know there is a dance Saturday night so I'm thinkin' maybe dinner around 5 so we have time to "party" for a while before it starts in case people want to participate in both?
I'm pondering a Christmas ham and beans for dinner that night along with a pie or two. If everyone would bring their favorite holiday dish to share we can make a darn fine meal of it.
The tents are up- just need people to fill 'em! This is, of course, the end result of the rain in Gettysburg and the storm that blew through the Milwaukee area last night... Lots of wet canvas. So we're all set for the first annual Battle of Port Washington... More pictures from the event to follow.
0752 hrs EDT- Tuesday. Just talked to Rich to confirm participation. ETA G-Burg approx. 1100 Fri. Will find you all somehow. Re: uniform, will gladly take whatever fits short guy with 34-35 inch waist. Really looking forward to seeing you all again. John Northgraves
We received and e-mail from Ryan Zunker this morning that their crew will be unable to attend the event as they've had problems with gun transportation.
We received an e-mail last night with the approximate layout for Artillery camp. I'm attaching the map with our areas of camp high lighted. Unfortunately we're a bit spread out but I'm choosing to look at that as an opportunity for better mingling!
