Bring baby butt wipes, these help.
We are bringing my 5 gal. thermos, it will be stocked with ice water with lemon and orange slices in it when we go off to war it will come with us and ride on the footboards.

Sounds like you've got the essentials already in the works. Once you've gotten to our side of the ocean some bug spray would be a good purchase- don't know what things will be like in Gettysburg but the mosquitos have hit in Wisconsin! Never hurts to have extra water either though they will have tanks near our camp if you don't want to carry it in.
The registration fee was $20, and has already been paid, you will just need to stop at the registration area when you arrive on sight and check in. Typically with events like this our unit asks each participant to help cover the cost of the powder and primers we fire so our plan is to calculate that during the event since we don't know what we'll be firing yet!
There is a link on the main blog page to Gettysburg, site maps and such can be found through their various links. They will point you toward the artillery camp. Several of our members will be on site by mid-day Wednesday so once you've arrived in camp ask for the Wisconsin Cushing's Battery group and you should be able to find us. I believe Brant and the other folks from Bat. B will be among the early arrivals so hopefully your tent will already be set up when you get there. If you'll be traveling with an international cell phone i'd be happy to give you my number, otherwise ask around in Artillery camp and someone should be able to find us!
